Martin knocked off!

Martin was knocked off this weekend when a car pulled out on him. He's OK though he now carries a neck injury but his bike wasn't so lucky.
It's a jungle out there!

ESCA 10 & SCCU 25 - Short & Sketchy.

Saturday's ESCA 10 saw Pete Tadros winning again with a long 20 on the Boship course.
Both Geoff and Paul J were around the 24 minute mark.
Sunday's SCCU saw VCE take the team prize with Mike on a 53, Tim on a 55 & Roger on a 57.
Any more details will be gladly received.

Crawley - Shoreham. Good Friday

Only Geoff Smith and myself riding today, on what was a perfect morning. Geoff a bit upset as he 'only' did a !:52 - although he is still recovering from broken bones!
Puts my 2:17:00 in perpective!!
I think there should be a standard prize for last place - I certainly would have won it today, although I did go faster than last year, it's just that everyone else went faster still!!

Who said Cyclists aren't bitchy?
Overheard at the SCCU results board - one clubmate to another (no, not VCE).
In a very loud voice.
"Still using the fake tan, then?"
